Apple iPhone SE

In April 2020, Apple unveiled a low-cost iPhone, the iPhone SE, which was a follow-up to the 2016 iPhone SE of the same name.

It has a 4.7-inch Retina HD LCD with True Tone to match the ambient lighting in a room, Wide colour, Dolby Vision, and HDR10. It is available in black, white and red, the iPhone SE is built with a glass front and back with a colour-matched aluminium band. Wireless charging is supported and it features IP67 water and dust resistance so it can hold up to splashes, accidental spills, and even brief submersions in water.

As iPhone SE is physically identical to an iPhone 8, it continues to feature thick top and bottom bezels and is the sole remaining iPhone model to do so.

The iPhone SE is the only iPhone in Apple’s current lineup that continues to feature Touch ID over Face ID. Like other iPhones, it uses Haptic Touch for Quick Actions and contextual menus, with 3D Touch now eliminated from the iPhone lineup.

There’s a single-lens 12-megapixel rear camera in the iPhone SE with an ƒ/1.8 aperture, optical image stabilisation, and support for Portrait Mode and Portrait Lighting. It does not have Night Mode, but there is Smart HDR, Wide colour support, and more, plus an LED True Tone flash with Slow Sync capabilities.

The iPhone SE’s camera can record 4K video at up to 60 frames per second with optical image stabilisation and support for slow-mo video and time-lapse video. Also, the front-facing camera supports Portrait Mode as well using the image signal processor and Neural Engine of the A13 Bionic.

The iPhone SE is available in 64 and 128GB capacities. Reviews of the iPhone SE were largely positive, with reviewers praising the device’s performance, which is on par with the iPhone 11, and its affordable price point. The iPhone SE’s battery life is good, but the iPhone SE is not as long-lasting as the iPhone 8.

Like the iPhone 8, the iPhone SE has an all-glass body that uses a seven-layer ink process to add colour to the glass, resulting in a rich depth of colour. The glass display and the glass body are held together by an aluminium band that matches the colour of each iPhone for a seamless look, and there are small antenna lines. The back of the iPhone SE houses a single-lens rear camera, a microphone, and an LED flash.

On the left side of the iPhone SE, there’s a mute switch and volume buttons, while the right side features the sleep/wake button. The bottom houses a Lightning port and speaker holes, and like prior iPhones, there is no headphone jack so Bluetooth or Lightning headphones are required.

The 2020 iPhone SE measures 138.4mm tall by 67.3mm wide, it’s 7.3mm thick, and it weighs 5.22 ounces. While it has the smallest display of any current iPhone, the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 13 mini are physically smaller. Because the iPhone SE shares a design with the iPhone 8, cases designed for the iPhone 8 work with the iPhone SE.

The iPhone SE is available in white, space grey and red. All three colours feature black front panels, including the white, which in previous light-coloured iPhones was white.

The iPhone SE features an IP67 dust and water resistance rating, which means it is entirely dustproof and able to withstand one metre of water (3.3 feet) for up to 30 minutes.

Refurbished iPhone SE:

By refurbishing, we mean the quality-assured overhaul and repair of products for reuse. So, an iPhone through this process restores its original factory settings, repairs as needed, and goes for resale. Refurbished iPhone SE can come from different origins; maybe a consumer has returned to the store; it might be a product sent back to the manufacturer because it was malfunctioning or maybe it was used. No matter where the phone comes from, the good point is, that it’s been tested and repaired to ensure it’s as good as a new iPhone SE.

Buying a second-hand iPhone SE is an alternative to buying a brand-new one for different reasons. You may need a replacement phone due to your original mobile being broken or stolen. Or you may simply desire a change from your current smartphone and upgrade your technology tools. The biggest advantage of buying a second-hand iPhone SE is the money. Refurbished phones are sold at discounted prices as once they are used, they cannot be labelled “new”.

On the other hand, technology is becoming more and more integrated into every aspect of our lives; as a result, e-waste is the world’s fastest-growing solid-waste stream. Purchasing a refurbished iPhone SE is an environmentally friendly option.

Even the best mobile phones get some price drops when their successors arrive. As long as you’re not obsessive about being at the forefront of mobile technology, there are many ways to save yourself money. Now you can easily choose your desired refurbished iPhone SE at Faircado at the best price.

At Faircado, no one pays to rank the highest. Any shop can go top if they have the cheapest price. All the business partners and sellers are screened for integrity, legality and creditworthiness.

What should be aware of before buying a refurbished mobile phone?

For the best balance between price and performance, Faircado recommends looking at refurbished models that are around a year old. These mobile phones are still new enough that you probably won’t have issues. But after a year you should find them at deep discounts on online second-hand markets.

Make sure you’re buying a phone that will work with your carrier. A refurbished mobile phone may or may not be locked, but it should be noted when you buy. Apple, for example, lets you pick your carrier, while other retailers may only have stock for certain carriers.
